Applications for the ASH-BSH Abstract Achievement Award are now closed.

Up to three BSH members will receive a US$2,000 award and complimentary registration to the , 6-9 December 2025. ​

BSH members in training who meet the eligibility criteria will automatically be considered for the award as long as the appropriate box is checked during ASH abstract submission.

The awards will be allocated based on their abstract score. Recipients will be either the first or most senior author of the abstract and would usually need to present their abstract in person at the ASH annual meeting to receive the award.

Submitters must first identify as a haematology-professional-in-training when submitting and select their training level. A letter from their Training Program Director confirming their status must be included with the submission. Find more information on how to apply on the page.

Deadline: 11.59 Pacific time, 5 August 2025.

Eligibility: Open to BSH members who:

  • fall within one of the following training categories: undergraduate student, medical student, post-graduate student, Specialist Trainee, or postdoctoral fellow (MD or PhD)
  • have not received the ASH Abstract Achievement Award within the previous two years
  • reside within the UK
